Description

Eric Amundsen assists clients with patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of manufacturing equipment, sporting goods, medical devices, consumer products, software, and business methods. Eric also assists with opinion work and product clearance analysis.

Eric’s graduate work was in the area of computer-aided design, including its application to distributed design processes and technology policy analysis.

Representative Matters

  • Counseled numerous solo inventors regarding obtaining patent protection.
  • Provided design-around advice to consumer products company as part of a study of dozens of competitor’s patents.
  • Advised major consumer products company on patent protection and product clearance issues.

Previous Experience Before joining the firm, Eric worked as a mechanical and environmental engineering consultant for GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. where he designed and implemented remediation strategies, including treatment systems and regulatory controls.
