Description
Frans Adriaans is a Ph.D. student at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS, Utrecht University. His project, which started in May 2006 and is supervised by René Kager, uses computational methods to model the acquisition of phonotactic constraints. Is also developing PhonotacTools: A tool for the analysis of phonemically transcribed corpora. Studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam. His M.Sc. thesis is about Historic Document Retrieval (HDR).
