Jože Gričar is Professor of Information Systems, Department of Informatics & Director, eCenter, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor (http://eCenter.FOV.Uni-Mb.si/ecomENG/index.htm ). He received Ph.D. degree in business & information systems from the University of Ljubljana in 1984. Prior to joining the University of Maribor in 1977, he was holding various managerial positions in Commerce Ljubljana, Representative of Foreign Firms for eleven years. His current research includes eCommerce and innovative cross-border eRegion development. Since the beginning in 1988, he is the Chair of the annual Bled eConference (http://www.BledConference.org).
