Proton je najpreprostejše atomsko jedro, ki nam šele s pravo raziskovalno sondo -- elektronskim žarkom visokih energij -- razodene svoje temeljne lastnosti. V zadnjih letih so eksperimentalne raziskave statične strukture protonov in dinamičnih procesov na njih skokovito napredovale. Avtor bo opisal nekaj najznačilnejsih sklopov takih meritev.
