Description
Martin Hensel founded Texterity in 1991 to provide technology and services to the publishing industry, originally as a designer of book production systems; in 1996, as a provider of ebook technology; and, in 2002, as a leading provider of digital delivery for magazines, catalogs, and other content. Hensel’s expertise in the publishing technology industry and high-level business perspective makes him a much sought-after speaker and commentator on industry topics.
Before launching Texterity, Hensel was general manager of Investext, a division of Thomson Financial Services; co-founder and general manager of electronic publisher Wilson Cambridge; and co-founder and president of LaserData, Inc., where he chaired the NISO standards committee that established the CD-ROM format. Hensel received a B.A. in Philosophy from New York University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
