Pandeli Garo started his career as a mechanical engineer. After finishing his studies at the University of Tirana, he designed equipment and facilities in confidential defense industry projects. In 1991, he moved to Heraclion, Greece, to assist the CEO of the Swiss-Greek company Hotel Plan International/SLS. Back in Tirana (1997), he became the director in charge of two World Bank projects, both aimed at revitalizing the Albanian Health System and Health Policy. The projects were run in collaboration with the Albanian Health Ministry. He also worked briefly as a director for Klik International Business Fair. In 2000 he obtained the General Management Program certificate at the IEDC-Bled School of Management and in 2004 he obtained an MC/MPA in Public Policy and Management at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Management.

Pandeli Garo is currently co-founder and partner in the following companies: Optimum Media SA, Proton LTD, Visual LTD, Titan Cement Albania, and DDB Albania. He is also managing director of the EDS Network and the R&T Group.
