Description

Dr. Svetla Koeva is professor of Computational linguistics at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Sv. Koeva received her Ph.D. in Structural, Applied and Mathematical Linguistics in the Institute for Bulgarian (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), Sofia. For the last ten years she has been involved in research and development of variety of linguistic resources for Bulgarian: wordnet, framenet, corpora, spell and grammar checkers, Bulgarian NLP chain, etc. At present Sv. Koeva is head of the Department of Computational Linguistics at the Institute for Bulgarian and deputy director of the Institute. Sv. Koeva has published five books, two textbooks, and over 100 studies and papers. She was granted with two national scientific awards.
