Tanja Niederländer is responsible for keeping an up-date on the so-called cooperation area (Reform pool) which includes projects that result in shifts of services at a provincial level between the hospital sector and the external sector. In addition, she supports her unit with the development of the Austrian DRG-System (Leistungsorientierte Krankenhausfinanzierung, LKF). Furthermore, she is the Work Package Leader of Work Group 2 “Dissemination” within the EU-Large Scale Pilot “Calliope Thematic Network”. She also supports the work done by the Dissemination Work Package within the EU-eHealth Large Scale Pilot epSOS and also actively works in the liaison between epSOS and the eGovernment Large Scale Pilot STORK (StepS). She is occasional Austrian delegate to the EU-i2010/eHealth group.
