Description
I received my MS in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2002 and my PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007. I am currently a computational biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
My research interests lie at the intersection of databases, data mining, and bioinformatics. In particular, I want to find new data-mining techniques for measurements of a large number of individual cells in microscopy-based high-throughput screens and profiling experiments.
