Winter Mason’s research at the Center for Decision Technologies focuses on social influence, group dynamics and crowdsourcing. Prior to joining Stevens, he was a post-doctoral research fellow for three years at the Yahoo Research Corp. Working on a project with partners in Germany and Korea, he has helped define what determines how social conventions occur.
He is a member of the American Psychological Society, the Cognitive Science Society, and the Society of Personality and Social Psychology. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Social Psychology and Personality Science, and the Journal of Statistical Analysis and Data Mining.
