Description

I am currently a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, HKUST. My supervisor is Prof. Dit-Yan Yeung. Before I joined HKUST, I obtained my bachelor and master degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Nanjing University in 2004 and 2007 respectively. During my master period, I was a member of the LAMDA Group under the supervision of Prof. Zhi-Hua Zhou.

My current research interests include Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition and Data Mining. I am especially interested in multi-task learning, transfer learning, semi-supervised learning, dimensionality reduction and metric learning.
