Description
Once upon a time, there was a boy who had everything what he desired, lots of good friends and a good paying job. Life was a party for him and he used to enjoy every bit of it. But some people have tendency to screw up things when everything goes fine. So did he, and on one fine day he decided to leave everything and go for further studies.
Somehow, you landed up in his homepage. My parents named me Amit. Its a Sanskrit word, which means infinite or immeasurable or boundless. In Hebrew, it means friend. Since I was born on 28th Nov, I have most of the qualities of a typical Sagittarius, so whatever I do, whatever characteristics I have is actually not my mistake, it is how I am supposed to be, which was decided by stars and of course my parents :)
Our lives are similar to bollywood movies, somehow everything turns out to be fine in the end. And if not, then the show is still on!!
I am a hard(ly) working first year PhD student in Department of Computer Science in University of British Columbia (UBC). My supervisor is Dr. Laks V. S. Lakshmanan. I completed my Bachelors in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB).
