Description

Arian Zwegers is a Project Officer at DG Information Society of the European Commission. He received a Ph.D. from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands for his contribution to the field of system architecture, which focused on reference architectures, shop floor control architectures, and modular software design. After obtaining his Ph.D., he worked for the Centre for Industrial Technology of Philips Electronics. In 2000, he joint Baan Development as a research manager where he was involved in several research and development projects. Before joining the Commission, he worked for PlatteConsult as a project manager in European RTD projects. He is currently responsible for a number of FP5 projects, some FP6 projects, and ongoing work in the Enterprise Interoperability cluster.
