But as with most technological innovation, these new tools also bring risks. This session will cover how criminals and other illicit actors are leveraging crypto/blockchain tools, how financial authorities around the world are working to investigate and counter such use, and the long term security implications of an emerging cryptocurrency ecosystem that operates outside the current financial system.
