Description

In their quest to understand life’s potential beyond Earth, astrobiologists study how organisms might survive in the extraterrestrial environments. The international space project BIOMEX is dedicated to discover boundaries and indicators of life on Mars. The lecture will reveal outcomes and future potentials of the experiments carried out on ISS where various organisms (bacteria, algae, fungi…) were exposed to extreme conditions in space.
