Description
The discussion of Plato's Phaedo continues, presenting more arguments for the existence and immortality of the soul. One such argument is "the argument from the nature of the forms," which states that because the forms are non-physical objects and cannot be grasped by something physical like the body, it follows that they must be grasped by the soul which must be non-physical as well. This argument is followed by the "argument from recycling" and "the argument from recollection."

To believe in premise 2 there are good reason -the key here is the verb "to know "(interpretation of it ) .In order to fully know what it is like to be me it is not enough just to know my references -to know fully that one must become me to be me.So to know the forms fully one must be himself the form hence eternal.

Your heart might continue to exist eternally as well .Consider-the heart is made up of many geometrical forms hence in itself is a complex geometrical form
It would not live eternally continuosly on this earth but in big scope of things it might as a form live in different galaxy after your death billions years from now -but when it doesn't exist it doesn't live ( not being awre of itself -heart also might have some low form of awareness for all we know ) but for itself in awareness it lives forever
