Description

Promotional video shows majority of experimental activities in the Program Inorganic Chemistry and Technology. First the demanding work with unstable compounds in the highest oxidation state is shown. Work is performed in the reaction vessels developed in the group. Further the work is done with the use of vacuum systems and dry box. All isolated compounds are extremely sensitive already on traces of moisture and oxygen therefore all characterizations and manipulation of these materials are done in a dry box and on the vacuum system. The composition of our products is determined in the analytical laboratory by using analyzer. The products which are less sensitive and catalytically active materials are used for different applications. In the background the dissolution of complex compounds of the transition metals in organic solvents is seen. They are used for thin layers on different surfaces. Some of our results could be used on a bigger scale for the application in the industry.
