In order to overcome the recent economic crisis, Internet and IT have received new attention as a practical tool for bringing about real changes as well as improving the quality of life for the citizens. In the time of transition in both the U.S. and Korean governments, mutual cooperation in terms of information technology - especially broadband infrastructure, connected democracy, healthcare IT- is critical for the transformation into a creative knowledge-based society. In this context, National Information Society Agency (NIA) and Korea-U.S. Economic Council, Inc. (KUSEC) are organizing “the 1st U.S.-Korea IT Policy Forum -Towards economic growth and mutual prosperity.” This forum will be a good opportunity for sharing IT policies and ubiquitous service models between experts of U.S. and Korea. Your presence and contribution will definitely add great value to the event. We are looking forward to seeing you at this forum.
