Description
Nine selected researchers from Universities of EUTOPIA, who submitted their posters to the EUTOPIA Science Fair, will compete in sharing their short (5 minutes) stories about their research to a diverse audience. Instead of formulas and graphs on slides, they will be allowed to use different objects and body language, and if necessary, also a silent assistant. The Science Slam will be in English. Their performances will be evaluated by the audience and the jury of (science) journalists. The event will be streamed, so anyone can contribute to the ranking through a televoting system.
Slam will be moderated by science journalist Maja Ratej and stand-up performer Aleš Novak.
