Description

This session aims to solicit discussions, exchange ideas and establish new partnerships in the area of semantic media technologies and semantic based modelling and processing in general but will focus on 3D content in particular, according to the missions of the SMaRT society and the Coordination Action FOCUS K3D, which address the “Intelligent Content and Semantics” strategic objective of the FP7 ICT theme. In this session we will invite experts & representatives of projects and institutions dealing with the topic of semantics in Multimedia analysis and retrieval, in order to discuss challenges in this field and how to address them.
